We were created as relational beings. Isolation is not the original intent. In the midst of needed social distancing, we must all the more be intentional to do Biblical community where we are connecting to one antoher spiritually and emotionally.
Our Community Groups are one of the primary ways we do this at UPC on a normal basis. It is not suprising that more people are connecting through virtual meetings than before COVID-19 entered our world. You can discover more about them here, but here is a brief summary:
Community Groups exist to help us BECOME & MAKE mature disciples who CONNECT relationally, GROW spiritually, and SERVE intentionally.
- Connect with other believers through authentic, gospel-centered, life-giving community and biblical "one-anothering".
- Grow towards spiritual maturity in Christ.
- Serve by intentionally using the gifts and resources God's given you to know, love and serve your neighbor in Jesus name where you live, work, learn, and play.
If you are not connected to other believers, would you consider joining a Community Group? If you are interested or would like more information, sign up here.
Let us know via email if you feel lonely/isolated and unable to connect with others and we will have someone call you to connect!
