The Congregational Care Team is made up of men and women. They exists to follow up with those who have emotional and spiritual needs with the goal of connection, encouragement, and direction. They will give focused attention on those connected to our congregation who may not have a Community Group or others following up with them regularly.
Who they care for:
Those connected to our congregation who have emotional and spiritual needs.
How they care:
Connection: When we hear of one with emotional or spiritual needs, usually through prayer requests, the CCT will email or text them with an invitation to connect on the phone or through a visit.
Encouragement: They will offer to listen, offer words of encouragement, and pray with them.
Direction: The CCT is not designed to be a long-term caring relationship, but rather to offer immediate care and then to direct them to some ways to connect with Community Groups, other specialized care groups, or a Stephen Minister.
