Paul's letter to the Galatians is a searing critique of Christless Christianity. The Galatian believers had started out well. They had received Jesus by faith and relied on the Spirit's help for sanctification. But false teachers (called Judaizers) had crept into their midst and convinced them that acceptance by God is based on grace plus works. This was "another gospel," and anyone who preached it should be eternally condemned. Our series on Galatians will help you be astonished at the gospel of grace, that you might live more fully for the glory and praise of God.
