Conflict is a fact of life. Everywhere you look—from the bedroom to the boardroom, from the halls of Congress to the streets of Mosul—people just aren’t getting along. As Jesus said, “In the world you will have tribulation.” But this doesn’t have to be the case among God’s people. When conflict erupts in the family, at school or the office, in the neighborhood, or at church, the gospel empowers us to do what we can to resolve conflict. Because this is such an important topic, for the next three Sundays we will take a break from our study of Mark to focus on peacemaking: what it is, why it’s important, and how to do it. In this mini-series Pastor Mike Osborne will lead us through the Biblical principles of peacemaking. Invite a friend and join us for worship at 10:00 a.m.
