WELCOME Families to UPC Kids!
We are excited about partnering with parents in the spiritual nurturing of children. Our heart is for the children of UPC to know our great God - who He is, what He is like, and how we should respond to Him. We want our children to experience what it means to be a part of the Body of Christ - to have meaningful relationships within the church family. We put an emphasis on Christ-centered lessons, worship, and relationships in order to fulfill our desire for the children.
The purpose of the nursery ministry is to care for babies from birth to 24 months in a clean, safe, and loving environment. There are three rooms for babies - a room for sleeping babies, a room for crawlers, and a room for walkers. Here children are provided a nurturing environment that will establish caring relationships that begin at birth. It is not merely a babysitting service, but a ministry to both the parents of UPC as well as our guests.

UPC Kids strives to teach God's word and apply the biblical truths learned to everyday life. We do this by using a God-centered curriculum and a creative learning environment. The Sunday School hours are designed to teach the children how to know God through his word and live out the gospel daily. Each lesson has a "pre-teach" sheet so that the parents are equipped to reinforce what is being taught. Bible memory is an important part of the morning and the children enjoy the challenge of memorizing God's word.
Sunday School Classes:
- 9:00 a.m.: 2 year old's - 5th grade
- 10:45 a.m.: 2 year old's - Kindergarten
- During the summer months, we have one service at 10:00 a.m. Sunday School is provided for 2 year old's through Kindergarten.
Throughout the year, the children also are encouraged to learn the entire children's catechism. If you would like to help your child learn the catechism, we have all 145 questions and answers here.
